When I first talked to Kaitie about maternity pictures she really wasn't interested and even though I loved being pregnant, I love other people being pregnant, I can totally respect that not everyone feels exactly that same way. I started thinking about the mama's I come across that don't want maternity sessions for one reason or another and then started down the road of thinking about motherhood in general. I approached Kaitie again and asked what if her session wasn't focused around her and being pregnant, but about Kit. The first, the baby that ...
This session was so much fun and went so smoothly for having 4 kiddos 4 and under. This was a mini session with Nanny and her babies. There was so much loving's and snuggles and you could just feel the love radiating between this lovely lady and her grand babies.

I was thrilled to have this family in front of my camera for a beautiful family mini session a few weeks ago. These kiddos took a minute to warm up, but we were having a crabapple tossing contest before our time was up. This session is a prime example of why when your photographer strongly suggests to schedule your session around golden hour, you do so (wink wink:). I know sometimes it can be hard with kid's schedules to make golden hour work, but I have never had anyone tell me it isn't worth it and I make it work for my own family as well when we do photos. There is just something magical that happens with golden hour and a camera.
